This place is going to really wow you. De Matteo’s opened their doors in 1979 and has been serving some of the best food in Central NY.

I mainly go there for lunch, and in my opinion it is the best time to go. All the old timers are sipping their drinks and playing cards and they have a nice spread of hot Italian peppers, provolone cheese and fresh bread to snack on. This stuff is really great! If you wanted, you could just have a couple Utica Clubs and fill your self up on that. But why would you want to? This joint has one of the best burgers around, and everyone who’s been there will tell you that.

If you’re not into hamburgers don’t worry, they have a ton of other great things on the menu. Like the grilled chicken sandwich. Yeah it’s great, you won’t be disappointed.

You might’ve heard of this place already, and you know how great it is. But if you haven’t ever been there take a trip out to Rome and hit up De Matteo’s for lunch. You’re gonna love it.
