It’s funny how you don’t really remember something till it’s gone. Today one of the most famous bakeries in Utica, NY burned to the ground.

When I was a kid we used to ride our bikes down Oneida street to get a taste of the greatness. And they distributed their cookies to all the area schools.

When I awoke today to the news of it catching fire, I never wanted a bite so bad. I was almost as scary as when the Saranac Brewery caught fire.

I hope Manny’s is strong enough to pull it back together and keep that Utica, NY tradition rolling.
