Today while I was on a hike to Stone Dam Lake I was lucky enough to see a ton of painted trilliums in bloom.

To me hiking the trails of the Adirondack mountains is always refreshing. Nature paints a picture that can never truly be reproduced.

Spotting a painted trillium is a true sign that spring has made it to the Adirondacks.

Going out in the spring you see the forests blooming. The new plants are sprouting and showing us what it means to go green.
