Here I sit in a waiting room thinking of the hassle my wife has had her whole life having to wear glasses. It’s not something she complained about but having to wear glasses since she was in 2nd grade I’m sure she is used to it by now. I know every once in a while she’d misplace them and be blind for a minute.

Right now she is in a room getting LASIK eye surgery to correct her vision. She will finally be free of the hassle that comes along with her glasses.

I bet when she was a child she was teased by kids a little. Not that she can’t handle it. She’s the toughest woman I know. Heck… I know that even I have made fun of her glasses. Now she will be Free.

She’s excited, talking about buying cool sunglasses, and opening her eyes under water, and doing things that she was reluctant to do in the past before while she had glasses.

I’m excited for her… finally to be free, to wake up in the morning and not have to reach for her glasses first. Good luck babe! I can’t wait to see your smile when it’s done. I love you.
