Art and Culture Right Here in Utica NY
You can come and see fantastic works of art made by local artists right here at the Utica Art Fair. Local artists put on the fair to showcase and sell their art. It’s the perfect chance for the people of Utica New York to see what local artist are making and see the vibrant culture within our city.
For four years several great artists have been coming together to put on Uptown Downtown Art Fair and this year is going to be even bigger. The Utica Art Fair will be held on Friday November 25, from 5:00 – 9:00 pm and Saturday November 26, from 10 am – 7 pm. The public is invited to both the kick off reception on Friday and the open hours on Saturday. There are two gallery locations: ‘Uptown’ at The Other Side, 2011 Genesee St. and ‘Downtown’ at 4 Elements studio, on 730 Broadway across from Utica City Hall.

In conjunction with Small Business Saturday, the weekend following Thanksgiving, the Utica Uptown Downtown Art Fair showcases a selection of Utica’s finest artists and artisans. Since 2013 the Art Fair has offered holiday shoppers the venue to buy local art and contribute to Utica’s cultural economy. Today, the Art Fair has become an anticipated event that attracts a growing list of collectors, holiday shoppers and art supporters. A variety of locally crafted art objects will be to browse and for sale: photography, ceramics, jewelry and metal-smithing to drawings, prints sculpture and paintings.
